Abstract
For the establishment of production-fields of strawberries, plants provided by existing production-fields are often used.
A great percentage of these plants are infected by viruses and are an important infection source of virus-diseases on this crop.
For the last 10 years the average degree of infestation of production-fields was about 70%. The reasons for this high degree of infestation and the measures to take in order to decrease this infection source are discussed in this publication.
