Abstract
A comparison on MM 1o6 rootstocks of Golden Delicious clones originating from different countries revealed the superiority of the Swiss clone in growth and yield.
Infection with latent viruses and the presence or absence of a replant effect, did not influence the genetic capacity of the clones.
