Abstract
Dried flowers both from native and introduced sources have gained popularity and long been a source of income for people from the rural areas as well as the exporters.
Thailand has abundant sources of botanical materials; however flowers and foliage plants must pass certain criteria for selection before they are subjected to processing and preservation.
Names of selected dried ornamental plants with high commercial value are presented in this paper.
Different methods of processing and preservation conducted by various factories in Thailand are also given.
