Abstract
The Remedial Measures Technique, which involves carrying out multivariate analysis on dependent problem variables and postulated cause variables, enables the identification of relationships facilitating the formulation of remedial measures.
The identification of nutritional imbalances giving rise to, or being associated with a problem such as internal breakdown in mango, serves as an example.
The technique, in facilitating imbalance identification, enables the derivation of remedial actions.
The scope of its application is wide, it pertaining to any problem where cause and problem variables can be identified and quantified.
The current paper explains the technique, and shows its application in resolving the problem of declining yields in a Sensation mango orchard.
