Abstract
BLUPRINS® is a concentrated gel formulation for breaking bud dormancy in warm-winter regions where plants do not receive adequate chilling temperatures.
BLUPRINS® is a bud breaking agent containing amino acids, polysaccharides, nitrogen and calcium.
Trials carried out in different countries have shown that BLUPRINS® advances and uniforms sprouting and flowering in table grape, cherry and kiwifruit.
Positive preliminary results were obtained also in apple and peach.
In the present paper, the effect of BLUPRINS® application on bud breaking in cherry (Ferrovia, Early Lory and Symphonie) is reported.
