The fruit industry in the countries of Tropical Asia is not so well-organised and scientifically managed, as in the USA, Australia and other advanced countries.
The production is very varied, that is, from very low to very high, the average being low.
To give an example from table grapes in India, it is observed that grower, in Andhra and Maharashtra receive a yield of 30 tons per acre, which is quite high.
