Abstract
Models used in greenhous climate control are discussed.
The greenhouse micro-climate is typically a distributed parameter system.
However, for control usually a lumped parameter approximation is made.
Black-box models can give a better description of the control behaviour.
Also, the potential of modern control theory is discussed.
