Abstract
Four different energy saving equipments and strategies were compared in order to evaluate their effect on greenhouse climate, on yield and on quality of two lettuce crops.
The equipments tested were Hortiplus low emissivity glass in the roof and a Cr-coated, double plastic thermal screen.
The strategies were opening and closing the screen at dawn, or opening and closing the screen at 3000 lx level.
