Abstract
Commercial orchardists sometimes experience difficulty in limiting the size of cherry trees and in inducing young trees to commence cropping.
Application of paclobutrazol at rates between 25 and 100 g active ingredient/ha to the cultivars Moss Early and Lewis reduced vegetative growth in the two years after application and increased fruit set and fruit numbers on Moss Early trees.
