Abstract
The ECP-model consists of a physical model which calculates the energy balance of the greenhouse (Bot, 1983) and a crop model which calculates the production (Gijzen and ten Cate, 1988). It was developed as a support system in the field of investments for CO2 enrichment (e.g. pure CO2 or heat storage). It simulates gas consumption, CO2 consumption and crop production for tomato, cucumber or sweet pepper.
