Abstract
In his "Handbuch der sukkulenten Pflanzen" Jacobsen (1) calls Sedum bellum Rose from Mexiko (Durango) a striking, pretty plant.
Some information on propagation and cultivation gave Steffen (2). For some years seeds and plants of this species are offered by the seed-firm Paul Schmid in Donzdorf (Württemberg) as Sedum bellum ‘Dondo’. According to the attached cultural information plants will bloom from Christmas on for a few months.
Jacobsen mentions January-February as flowering-time.

As in our institute trials are carried out on flower formation of various succulents, it appeared to be reasonable to include Sedum bellum in these investigations too.
