Abstract
Cinerarias can benefit from temperatures up to 25°C during germination and during the vegetative stage of development.
There was a slight indication that the optimum temperature shifts from 25°C to 20°C during the third fortnight period after emergence.
Light and temperature conditions during this phase had a clear after-effect on the growth of seedlings during the subsequent vegetative phases.
