Abstract
The normal minimum temperature during the culture of Anthurium scherzerianum is 18–21°C. At this temperature flowers are most abundant in springtime, however, during the rest of the year there can be flowers on the plants.
Splitting off of the leaves and flower initiation go together.
From a certain stage of the plant each leaf can produce a flower.
Flower development is irregular, but this development can be promoted by lowering the temperature for a certain time.
Six weeks 15°C gave the best results.
