WORKSTUDY IN HORTICULTURE

Beside some historical facts this introduction will show that the systematic application of work study in horticulture is rather new.

Different rules and norms, which will lead to a more efficient use of human labour, will be indicated.
The great importance of good human relations in the enterprise will be stipulated.

The division of the symposium, in the course of which successively the ergonomic, the work organisation, the work method and the technical equipment will be discussed, will be pointed out.

Further there will be gone into the expected importance of this symposium for the benefit of an international cooperation in work study and the application in horticulture.
