Abstract
This paper aims to show a new release of MOPIS, presented at a previous ISHS Symposium and now adopted by the Emilia-Romagna extension service.
MOPIS is a decision support system particularly adapted to planning in fruit farms.
It is based on the long-term financial simulation.

The new release of the software presents new solutions in three main fields: methodological model, computerized framework and extension service organization.

The new instrument is the result of the study of the previous experience concerning the use and organizational practices related to MOPIS.
