Abstract
A computerized Spraying Coverage Analysis system has been developed to assist researchers, instructors and farmers to measure the coverage efficiency of pesticide application machines and systems.
The system is compact and mobile and intended to work in the field, connected electrically to a tractor, jeep or other agricultural vehicles, or, optionally, in the laboratory when the more precise analysis is needed.
The system contains a powerful computer and image processing unit, dedicated illumination and TV camera with the proper optics.
Some of the image processing algorithms are considered in this paper and illustrated on real examples.
