Abstract
Spline interpolation neutralizes the random effects of the environment and cultivation procedures on measured parameters (number and length of produced flowering shoots). This procedure reveals biological rhythms (internal clocks) of flowering shoots.
Periodic changes in environmental conditions, sigmoid law of growth, and the property of ergodicity allow the reconstruction of the state parameters of a flower population.
Two linked processes are discussed: radiation transmission and leaf area expansion.
The purpose of the simulation is to measure the synchrony of these processes.
The behavior of this measure reveals information of the management of cultivation methods for the improvement of product quality.
