Abstract
Our aim is to seed-propagate Streptocarpus for use as a pot plant.
Preliminary inbreeding studies have shown high variability in selfs of Constant Nymph.
A significant loss of vigor occurred in the third generation of selfing.
The presence of functional male sterility suggests the possibility of F1 hybrid seed production.
