BREEDING OF SOME ORNAMENTAL GENUS FOR CUT FLOWER PRODUCTION UNDER SHORT DAY CONDITIONS

For economic reasons, new rotations are searched for the winter cultivation in vegetable greenhouses.
One solution was found in some ornamental genus: Antirrhinum, Zinnia, Matthiola, Tagetes, Delphinium.
The breeding of varieties better suited to the poor winter light conditions of Northern Europe is carried out.
