A number of qualitative and quantitative methods were used in order to establish the similarity between the samples.
An assessment of the producers’ indication regarding the preparation method was conducted on the most used plant material.
The results revealed the presence of major impurities for the majority of the medicinal teas.
The qualitative analysis showed a similar compounds spectra, whereas the quantitative study indicates significant differences between the chamomile samples.
