Abstract
In these experiments hardwood cuttings were made from plant material that is normally discarded.
Because of the very promising results in the experiments cuttings were also taken from other more difficult to root plants.

The cuttings were placed in a cutting mixture in 7 cm plastic pots in tunnels covered with clear (inside) or milky white (outside) plastic in a glasshouse at 20°C, in a glasshouse kept frost-free (5°C) and in the open.
For some plants the described method of propagation is very different to the already existing propagation method.

The research on this subject will be continued.
