Abstract
The propagation of large-flowered Rhododendron hybrids from cuttings is improved by a number of factors.
These include the wounding of the stem base, the use of root promoting substances, the temperature of the propagation substrate, and the system of propagation used.

This paper outlines experimentation carried out over the past few seasons, and discusses the principal considerations in the propagation of these plants from cuttings.
