Abstract
Moldavia is located in the natural zone, which favourably affects the farming crop of apricot european varieties.
This is provided by relatively warm temperatures.
However, self-fruitful, winterhardy, immune varieties, having high productivity and fruits for universal use are necessary for regular fruiting.
Varieties, to a great extent corresponding to these requirements, and developed in the Moldavian Research Institute of Horticulture, Viticulture and Wine-Making are as follows: Kishinevsky early, Kostjugensky, Detsky, Yantarny, as well as Nikitsky, Hersonsky 26, Smena.
