Abstract
A range of hybrids with late maturation of fruits was

16/2 (mean fruit weight 85 g), Băneasa 18/34 (mean
fruit weight 77 g), Băneasa 8/5 (mean fruit weight 73 g;
20.2% dry matter) and others which will permit the extention
of fruit processing and consumption period by
15-20 days after Meilleur d’Hongrie variety, a main
variety in Romania.
