Abstract
Water supply in the open cultivation is much more difficult than most people realise.
What happens if the water distribution is provided by sprinklers? On the Institute of Agricultural Engineering at Wageningen a lot of investigations have been carried out on small and big sprinklers.
One of the most important things is the influence of the wind.
