Abstract
This paper aimed to investigate and analyze species and quantities of the birds utilizing plants as total or part of their foods and food source plants in existing tree species in Beijing Olympic Forest Park during the period between July 2015 and October 2016. In total 82 food source plants and 52 birds utilizing plants were recorded, and they accounted for 82.83% of the total trees and 50% of birds appeared in Forest Park.
The current problems in urban green space were discussed, and the measures for attracting urban birds through the selection and collocation of green tree species were proposed, to provide detailed suggestions and references for urban biodiversity conservation and plant landscape construction of bird habitats in Beijing.
