Nutrition characteristics and nutrition accumulation of asparagus

Abstract
The nutrient contents in different organs were analyzed to explore the accumulation characteristics of nutrients in asparagus.
The results showed that the accumulation proportion of dry matter in the asparagus stalks, spears and root was 48, 27, and 25%, respectively.
The nutrient contents in the asparagus stalks and root were in the order of N > K > P > Ca > Mg, however, N > K > P > Mg > Ca in the root.
The N, P, K and Ca contents in spears was higher than that in the stalks and root, while the Mg content was higher in the stalks.
The average absorption amount of N, P, K, Ca and Mg in whole asparagus plant were, respectively, 4.41, 0.56, 1.4, 0.23, and 0.22 g, and the ratio was 1:0.13:0.33:0.05:0.05. For 1,000 kg asparagus spears, the absorption amount of N, P2O5, K2O, CaO and MgO was 6.54, 0.84, 2.13, 0.34, and 0.33 kg, respectively.
And the removal amount was 5.26, 0.72, 1.80, 0.31, and 0.30 kg, respectively.
