Abstract
An automatic system was designed and installed to monitor and control the oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations in 24 controlled atmosphere (CA) storage rooms and 30 CA storage cabinets.
Crop temperature and ethylene concentration in each room can be measured but not directly controlled.
The system is operated by an 128K microcomputer and is connected to a telesponder in order to signal the operator when needed.
