Abstract
The causes of abnormalities which occur during and after micropropagation were summarized.

The most often observed abnormalities are changes in: leaf shape, morphology and anatomy; stomata morphology, number and function; rate of growth and branching; flower characteristic, and some physiological reactions.
The possible remedies for specified abnormalities are shortly described.
