GROWING TREE-LIKE PLANTS OF FUCHSIA BY USING GIBBERELLIC ACID /GA₃/

Using GA₃ in a concentration of 250 or 500 mg/l, applied three times in week interwals is a good way to produce strong, straight stems for the standard, tree-like fuchsias.

BA using, after pinching the elongated stems of tree-like fuchsias, slightly promoted the branching of the flower head.

GA₃ delayed the flowering process of tree-like fuchsias.

Further research is needed to determine the differences between the cultivars, which appear to be considerable, and to develop a more precise production schedule.

Treating fuchsia with GA₃ appears to be an excellent way to reducing the production time and lowering the cost of growing standart, tree-like fuchsia.
