Abstract
The introduction of fertilizers into the soil in greenhouses is one of the basic agro-technical measures, conductive towards increased yields of plants, grown under controlled conditions of the environment.

With this aim in view, studies were carried out on the effective methods of fertilizing tomato plants with various doses of mineral fertilizers and their after effects at the Ishalnitza Experimental Station during the 1967–1969 period.
