Abstract
Due to the difficulty of performing test of chemicals against fire blight in true orchard conditions -the disease is too destructive to allow such experiments-, we have to use limited tests, aimed at the comparison of an unknown chemical to already registered compounds.
It is then assumed that the chemical giving good results in our tests will remain valuable, when included in a complete spray program in the orchard.
