Abstract
Physical models of greenhouses developed after our review on a similar subject (Takakura et al., 1985) are discussed.
Models are classified as either static or dynamic and as total- or sub-systems.
Boundary conditions and system parameters should be well investigated.
Various standalone models for particular purposes on personal computers are preferable from the viewpoint of not only simulation but also control.
It is again emphasized that model refinement and sensitivity analysis are essential.
