Abstract
The authors presented the results of the analyses of heavy metals contents (Cu, Zn, Mn, Pb and Cd) and the quality of dried hop cones treated during the vegetation with fungicides (and insecticides). Changing the program of hop protection (introducing new synthetized fungicides instead of Cu-compounds and dithiocarbamates) the content of Cu, Zn and Mn is decreased, but because of general air pollution the Pb and Cd content is increased.

The quality control demonstrated that applied fungicides did not influence significantly the resins content, bitter and antiseptic values.
