Abstract
Composting can be integrated into greenhouse production as source of CO2. CarbofermR -process designed with jet injection scrubber as central technology element gives good chance for high process economy compared with conventional methods of CO2 supply.
A suitable but simple composting model is based on a two substrate two microorganisms interaction.
It allows process simulation.
Together with models of greenhouse and jet injection scrubber the optimization and control of a greenhouse system is possible.
