Abstract
Various qualitative characteristics of tomato fruits collected at full ripening stage in two experimental cold greenhouses are reported.
The results are discussed in relation to harvest date and hence to environmental conditions during the ripening, and to the fruit position on the plant.

The variations of some characteristics were in accordance with the changes in solar radiation level during the ripening.
