Abstract
Many indigenous bulb species are virus-infected.
Methods for virus elimination and/or rapid propagation by tissue culture had to be-investigated.
Plantlets have been successfully cultured on leaf, stem and bulb segments of both Ornithogalum and Lachenalia.
