Abstract
Possibilities of improving chrysanthemum stunt detection have been investigated.
Special growing conditions combining high temperatures of about 25–28°C and high light intensity (20,000 lux) allow to detect sturn 20 days after inoculation.
Such results can be obtained either with Chrysanthemum morifolium cv.
Mistletoe or with Gynura aurantiaca.
Two other cvs, viz.
Bonnie Jean and Sunfire, are very susceptible to stunt and express symptoms in the greenhouse, 15–20 days after inocuation.
