Abstract
This work presents the use of the stereovision method for detecting the position of the scattered area in 3D and the laser incident angle detection.
The scattered area depends not only on the internal fruit quality (healthy and not healthy biological tissue) but also on the laser incident angle on the fruit surface.
This information is required for the recalculation of the scattered area perpendicular to the laser ray.
It is a kind of the area normalization.
Such normalized area can be used for further fruit health estimation.
The work presents: the used materials and equipment, the method description, the mathematical background and the experimental results.
