Abstract
Achillea plant is often grown in Hungary as a wild plant.
It is widely used as a medicinal plant under a collective name Achillea millefolium L. "Oleum millefolii" is the produced oil from the herb, having a dark blue color and high Azulene content.

In the present work we contribute on the study of the oil production and formation in this plant under different growing conditions during two years and under controlled conditions in a "Phytotron".
