Abstract
The aim of the study was an assessment of some important fruit nutraceutical parameters of Vitis vinifera cultivars grown in southern Poland.
The material used for this experiment were five grapevine cultivars: Jutrzenka, Seyval Blanc, Rondo, Marechal Foch and Muskat Odeski. Organic acids content using isotachophoresis, soluble solids content, total polyphenols, Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power and elements: Ca, K, Na and Zn were measured.
Among the investigated cultivars Marechal Foch and Rondo (red fruits) were the richest in polyphenols (36,8 and 30,1 g GAE L-1 respectively), FRAP (16210 and 6585 μmol Fe L-1), as well as measured elements.
The white berry cultivar Jutrzenka had its parameters closer to red berries than to white ones. Seyval Blanc revealed the lowest content of measured parameters.
