Abstract
In this investigation, the population structure of A. flavus was analyzed using DNA fingerprinting based on RAPD-PCR by means of their primers including 54, 117 and 160. Total DNA was extracted from 54 monoconidial isolates that were isolated from contaminated seed and processing residue isolates samples and amplified according to specific PCR program.
Each isolates was subjected to DNA fingerprinting and clonal lineages were determined.
Phenetic analysis differentiated six distinct fingerprinting lineages between isolates.
Clonal lineages A, B, D, C, E and F included 16.8, 53.7, 24, 1.8, 1.8 and 1.8% from tested isolates This study reveales that the population of the fungus did not show high level of diversity in Kerman province.
