Abstract
Several Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. cultivars were tested for in vitro bud and plant regeneration from excised cotyledons.
Morphogenic potential of cotyledons and callus formation was also investigated in long-term culture in view of the construction of an " in vitro" tomato genetic system.
