Abstract
Rooting shoots in vitro is very labour intensive.
In addition, when those rooted plantlets are potted in a conventional substrate, usually a growth stop is manifest and they only continue to grow after a new root system has developed.
Moreover, phytopathological problems can arise.

Tissue cultured shoots can be manipulated as cuttings and rooting is better under approprieted in vivo conditions.
Different approaches for establishing these shoots are presented.
Preparation of shoots in vitro is very important.
