Abstract
Propagation of ornamental conifers by cuttings is favoured by CO2 enrichment of air.
This enrichment improves also the growth of the following young conifers : Cupressus Arizonica, Larix decidua, Pseudotsuza Douglasii, Taxus baccata, Pinus nigra and Picea excelsa. However, Cedrus Atlantica has no profit from supplemental CO2 ; CO2 enrichment has a beneficial effect on young oaks , principally in the presence of only nitrate-nitrogen nutrition.
