Abstract
Curled parsley (Petroselinum crispum (Mill) crispum forma crispum) was grown in nutrient film using both constant and intermittant water flow.
Plants were placed in the system 3, 5 or 7 weeks after sowing.
Different types of plastic pots and growing media were compared.
Best growth was obtained when the plants were subjected to continuous water flow three weeks after sowing.
In hot periods plant growth was best in pots where the roots could penetrate through the side of the pot.
