Abstract
Simply reading the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature is not likely to give one an idea of how our nomencalture system works.
For this, it is better to read a digest of it, such as is found in Jeffrey’s Biological Nomenclature (Jeffrey, 1977). Here I am attempting to give a digest of the Code as it applies to hybrids.
