INTEGRATED FRUIT PRODUCTION IN WEST-GERMANY

In all West-German fruit growing areas "Integrated Fruit Production" is considered to be the future way of orchard management and to reduce chemical sprays as well as surplus nutrient applications.
Despite of this only relatively few farmers so far practised "Integrated Fruit Production" to such an extend that a certificate for it would be justified.
Present concepts and strategies for the "Integrated Fruit Production" are described.
