Abstract
The paper presents a planning model that considers the effect of risks on decision making in horticultural firms.
The model focuses on the influence of global radiation on plant growth in glasshouse production.
A stochastic model is developed for production planning in pot plant firms and is based on the method of chance-constrained programming which allows to directly incorporate the risk attitudes of decision makers into the model.
First results and intentions for future extensions are discussed.
