Abstract
In several kinds of flower bulbs as Tulipa sp., Narcissus sp., Gladiolus sp., Lilium sp., Allium sp., Scilla sp. etc. methazole 28.1% + pyridate 28.1% (common name Bitrex, Agrolinz) was used in two year trials as a postemergence herbicide to evaluate phytotoxicity and find out a possibility to replace triazine herbicides.
No phytotoxicity to any kind of bulbs with the exception of one tulip cultivar was observed.
